Spine Flexion
Bending your upper body forwards at the spine so that your chest rotates down towards your stomach
Spine Extension
Straightening your backbone from a flexed (bent) position to a neutral position (standing straight)
Spine Hyperextension
Bending your upper body backwards at the spine past a neutral position so that your shoulders rotate back towards your rear
Spine Lateral Flexion
Bending your backbone laterally (to the side) in either direction
Spine Horizontal Rotation
Twisting your upper body to either side so that your backbone rotates in place and you change the direction you're facing
